Intergalactic Cookie Jars – Westland Giftware Releases its Spock Star Trek Cookie Jar (TrendHunter.com)

July 7th, 2011

This Spock cookie jar is modeled after a ceramic bust of the popular Star Trek Original Series character Spock, and it completely rocks my socks off. Im not sure if I even like cookies that much, but I would love to have this Spock cookie jar. Im not too sure how Spock would feel about being the face of a cookie jar, but it might encourage more impromptu baking sessions just to fill this sweet confection container.

God Bless Westland Giftware for making this item available for those who geek out and are proud Sci-fi nerds like myself. Even if youre not an avid fan of the iconic series, you must admit that this is a pretty sweet find.

Live long and Propsper with this Spock cookie jar.

The designer claims that the following shelves provide people with information on the space where they are located, on who lives and how there. The most interesting part, the Habla shelving system can be hung both vertically or horizontally.

Aerodynamic Beverage Brewers – The Object Creative Teapot Embodies a Surprising Sleekness (TrendHunter.com)

July 6th, 2011

The ability to limit wind resistance may not be a necessary feature in tableware items; however, the appearance of the Object Creative Teapot makes the vessel all the more intriguing next to its perfectly round relations.

By nature, the brewer is designed to contain a liquid, and with such properties in mind, the streamlined shape of the piece has been inspired by machines for marine transportation. Should a motor and propeller be be attached to this tea pot, and should it be submerged, one might find that this graceful form would cut cleanly through the water.

Without making the Object Creative Teapot look too futuristic, wood detailing has been added to the lid and the unusual handle. Without knowing what influenced its form, the vessel is still a very elegant item.
