Hubbell Lighting upgrades New Orleans Lakefront Airport

The project has been designed by Richard C. Lambert Consultants. The exterior of the airport is equipped with Kim Lighting Architectural Floodlights following the overhaul. The floodlights comprise horizontal spot reflectors which highlight the façade’s relief and the sculptured friezes. Further, a spot reflector has been fixed at a definite mounting point and angle to illuminate The Spirit of Aviation sculpture located over the main entrance of the terminal.

The front as well as side entryways of the terminal incorporate Architectural Area Lighting’s exterior wall sconces. These sconces comprise a customised screen styled by Paul Dimitrios which is adorned with motif used in the original 1929 architectural design.
